First, a little explanation about why we’ve been blogging about branding SO MUCH. We consider branding to be more than a logo. IT’S EVERYTHING.
When I think about brands, I always think of icebergs (I’m not alone in this analogy.). The tip of the iceberg (the part we can see) is your logo, but there is so much more under the water.
Brand is how you speak to your customers and clients, it’s your people, your website, how you interact on social media and more.
These are all things we consider when we look at brands. Great brands spend the time and money on the base of the iceberg. Here are a few more companies investing in a good base.
Force Brands is a boutique recruiting and staffing agency that works in hiring strategies and organizational design for food and beverage companies.
The brand is made up of three divisions: BevForce, FoodForce (hiring for the food and drink industries) and FieldForce (marketing and event staff). The logos and colors of all of the divisions work cohesively together.
I love the companies they work with and their friendly and conversational tone across all social platforms and their blog.
fourthFLOOR knows talent and fashion, and they know what’s up when it comes to a slick looking brand. fourthFLOOR is a “premier recruiting service connecting top fashion and beauty talent with dream employers.”
On their website, it all begins in the lobby. From the lobby the user moves to different “floors” based on whether they are a client or talent. I personally haven’t seen a website with this cool of a concept in staffing, or any industry for that matter. I love the custom artwork and graphics throughout the entire website.
The company carries their messaging and branding throughout social and offers super helpful and engaging content.
Kinsa Group’s brand is straightforward and approachable — from the blog to their assets — they welcome the user to connect with their online presence. Kinsa connects professionals, managers, and executives with leading food and beverage employers.
The voice and tone of the brand is straight to the point and highly effective. We also love that they specialize in food and beverage!
It’s the little things that make up great brands, and we love all of the little things that Mathys+Potestio pulls off really well. Mathys+Potestio aka The Creative Party (Portland, LA, Austin) specializes in creative placement and has an awesome site, candidate experience and overall branding.
The Instagram contests, the T-shirts, the professional development events, and more show everyone around that Mathys+Potestio is passionate and stoked to be helping creative professionals meet up with great companies.

We see a lot of IT staffing companies claim they know IT but they don’t do a good job of appealing to IT candidates.
