Your Staffing Company’s Job Listings Can Appear First In Indeed Search Results

oh-just-get-a-job

How can you make sure your staffing company’s job listings appear at the top of Indeed job search results? With SEO!

Let’s quickly review what SEO is and why it’s so important. According to Search Engine Land,

SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” It is the process of getting traffic from the “free,” “organic,” “editorial” or “natural” search results on search engines.

How does a company get this traffic and rank at the top of search engines results? One way is by building authority.

Simply put, building authority involves writing content and building links (this can be job postings!).

More Authority = More Reach. If you’re ranking low in search engines, you’re not reaching potential customers.

Your website must have this “authority” to rank well. Google promotes pages it thinks have authority to the top of search engine rankings.

This is important because most people will click on the websites that appear near the top of the page because they assume these are the most relevant pages from their search.

Here’s an example. We searched a particular job on Indeed. Check out the results below:

The jobs that rank near the top will likely get the most traffic because most users assume results toward the top are the most relevant to them.

We noticed another trend: nearly all of the websites on the first page of results are Staffing Robot clients. We work with these companies on SEO/PPC. We make sure their jobs rank at the top of search results pages. And we’ve been waiting to do the same for your company.
