There’s a Mobile Disconnect Between Job Seekers and Recruiters

Jobvite does a handy little social recruiting survey so quiet down and everyone turn to page 16!

According to Jobvite, despite 43% of job seekers using mobile in their job search, 59% of recruiters currently invest nothing in mobile career sites.

SAY WHAT? 59% of recruiters in this survey invest zero dollars?

Maybe you’ve been putting it off because you’ve heard that apps are expensive. You’re in luck because you don’t need an app! You need a responsive mobile site!

Responsive design means the website is designed to move to fit any device, which also means you’re not paying for someone to design multiple websites or even worse, an expensive and unnecessary app.

If someone tells you can magically transform your current site into a mobile site, I’d be wary. Not as wary as people who say global warming is real but you know … cautious.

Here at Staffing Robot, we’re mobile-first because the world has become mobile-first. We design a killer website on mobile and then carry it over to the desktop ensuring seamless navigation across devices.

  1. You need a responsive site, plain and simple! If you want to reach job seekers you need to show up in the SERPs, right? Well that means playing by the rules and Google is pushing for sites to be mobile friendly. Make it easy for people to find you and your open positions.
