Did you watch the Super Bowl on Sunday? Did you watch it for the game or the ads? Well, if you watched it for the ads you were terribly disappointed (or if you are a Denver fan). The ads this year – L.A.M.E. AMIRIGHT?
Ok. I kind of liked the Doritos Super Bowl Time Machine ad. But most of the ads were boring. Worse though, it seemed that these big brands are either out of touch or their ad agencies are TERRIBLE. For example – Subway – really, pro athletes are eating your new Fritos Enchilada Sub? I doubt it. When an ad is so disconnected from reality it feels like a dishonest sales pitch. Staffing and Recruiting firms should take note!
