Mighty Nurse – Now Even Mightier! We recently finished a project for Mighty Nurse. We actually finished the initial project awhile back, but never posted about it. We recently completed an update to the site so thought now would be a good time to highlight the project. What’s Mighty Nurse? Well, in their own words…
Mighty Nurse is a team of nurse superheroes. The mission: To support and empower nurses in a world that takes advantage of their unrelenting support for humanity, kindness and skills.
Mighty Nurse is a community forum centered around improving the careers of nurses. The website features:
- Nursing forums
- Nursing news
- Nurse jobs
- Facility reviews
- Peer Q&Q
- Nursing stories and opinions
- And cartoons!
Our contribution to the mighty nurse project was around the styling and design of the site, as well as developing some super beneficial features to the nursing community. Our favorite? The Facility Reviews feature.
This section of Mighty Nurse lets nurses find hospitals they’ve worked at and give feedback on different questions about the facility. The data is then aggregated and shared with the community, displaying the top 3 things nurses feel the hospital does well and the top 3 things it can improve on. It also displays patient feedback information for each hospital.
The Mighty Nurse community is growing everyday. They have an incredible online presence with a significant social following. Mighty Nurse originally launched less than 1 year ago and already they have over 134,000 Likes on Facebook! If you’re a nurse, create your account on Mighty Nurse and connect with them socially to get great information, check out funny cartoons, and enter their contests.
Their current contest is 20 Days of Nursemas where they’re giving away a prize each day to newly registered users!
As we are with every project, we are extremely grateful to have the opportunity to work with Mighty Nurse. We love working with companies in the staffing industry, especially those doing innovative things in the healthcare staffing industry. Which, of course, leads to our next question…
Innovative customers wanted: Who’s next?
