VMS Revenue Continues to Surge Even During Recession

Vendor-management Think everyone struggled in staffing over the last couple of years? Think again. According to new research and data released from the Staffing Industry Analysts, temporary staffing spend run through VMS systems increased in both 2008 and 2009.

In their latest VMS/MSP Competitive Landscape Report they site that:

"U.S. temporary staffing spend through VMS increased by 15%, from $23.0 billion in 2008 to $26.5 billion in 2009."

Perhaps just as interesting, although the acceptance and popularity of the MSP model has seemed to increase, the revenues here remained flat.
